Hi , My daughter came to her appointment 4 weeks with the orthodontist at faces braces for her first time … and I still haven’t gotten the letter for an approval of the braces .. should I be concerned?

      Hi Nicole,
Thanks for your question! It takes around 4-6 weeks for the letter of approval to be sent back.

I have been going to an orthodontist for the past two years and am currently wearing the braces that they installed. I live in Philadelphia and am going to school in Lancaster. Getting an appointment at my previous orthodontic office was near impossible. Due to this and questionable cleanliness, I decided not to return. I have been looking into Faces & Braces and I would like to switch over, but I do not know how that would work considering I have braces from another office installed. So, I have two questions.
    1. Would I be able to switch over?
    2. If I switch over, would I have to choose between the office in Philadelphia and the office in Lancaster?

Thank you for the informative piece. I had braces as a kid and usually found it useful to shun sticky foods, such as bagels. Also, utilize a water pick to get all of the food out of your wires.

Thanks for the educational blog. I had braces as a kid and always found it useful to shun sticky foods, such as taffy. Also, use a Water Pik to get all of the food removed from your teeth.

Your family is busy. Missing class or work isn’t ideal, so seek orthodontist care specialists whose office is open after school, in the early evening or on weekends. Many orthodontic care specialists are on-call during weekends or after hours for emergency treatments, too. Finding an orthodontic practice that will work around your busy schedule ensures that nothing interferes with an appointment, and allows your family to receive as much attention as is needed.

If you know people with children wearing braces, ask for a recommendation. Also ask orthodontists you’re considering if they can provide references, to give you an idea of past or current patients’ opinion of the practice.

I am extremely inspired with your writing abilities as smartly as with the structure for your weblog. Is this a paid subject or did you customize it yourself? Either way stay up the excellent high quality writing, it’s uncommon to see a nice weblog like this one these days..|

I’ve observed that in the world the present moment, video games would be the latest phenomenon with kids of all ages. Periodically it may be out of the question to drag your children away from the activities. If you want the very best of both worlds, there are plenty of educational activities for kids. Interesting post.
